Portrait Painting Workshop
with Lorelle Bacon

This is a workshop for those who have always wanted to know how to go about painting a portrait or for those who want to learn one of the techniques that simplifies the process.
Students will learn how to transfer drawing to the canvas and how to lay in oil paint or acrylics in what I call the sculpting stage. Then, we will work to complete the painting following along using a furnished picture. After gaining confidence, students will do a second painting using an 8X10 photograph of someone they want to paint, which they have brought to the workshop.

Please request a suppliy list and ask any questions you may have via e-mail.

Fee: $120 if student brings own supplies.
$140 if supplies are provided. (We need to know in advance if you are not bringing your own supplies,)

Bring a lunch and a drink.

Come join the fun!
